FearlessLifeSolutions.co was another WordPress blog with a custom designed theme I built.
The client supplied me with a couple of example sites that showed the styles he liked, and we worked through the design until we achieved the look he wanted.
The navigation bar has dropdown submenus populated by WordPress custom menus. That feature made WordPress much more powerful, because controlling what appears in the navigation bar had come a long way from simply displaying pages.
The homepage modules are connected to posts in the blog and are called into each box by category ID. Every time a new post is published in a specific category, the related homepage box updates with the latest content.
We also added the ShareThis plugin, which let us put nice-looking social buttons with counters into each post. The newer ShareThis plugin made that much easier to do. I remember trying to use their plugin a while before this and it was not very good, with not much control yet, but by this point I was using it a lot.
