The problem
A lead survey triggered a physical follow-up: mailing a book to the submitted address. The business needed the fulfillment request to happen automatically and the CRM record to show that the book had been sent.
The solution
I built a PHP integration that received the survey submission, sent an order to the fulfillment center through the InfoPlus API, and updated the contact in Keap with a tag indicating the book was sent.
The result connected a marketing form, CRM record, and physical fulfillment workflow into one clean path.
How the workflow moved
- A lead submitted the survey form with contact and mailing information.
- The integration prepared the fulfillment order payload.
- The order was sent to the fulfillment center through the InfoPlus API.
- The contact record in Keap was updated through the API.
- A tag was applied so the team could see that the book was sent.
Why it mattered
The workflow reduced manual fulfillment work and kept CRM visibility aligned with the physical shipment process. Leads could receive the promised book without someone copying addresses between systems.
